In 1979, Jerry Hermanson formed the Hermanson Company, operating primarily as a sheet metal contractor engaged in the fabrication and installation of commercial and industrial heating and air conditioning systems. Today's Hermanson is a full service Mechanical Contractor, offering a comprehensive suite of professional design and construction services for a wide variety of projects.

Hermanson Company's main office and 35,000 s.f. fabrication shop is located in Kent, Washington. From this base, we have successfully served customers on a broad range of Plan & Spec and Design-Build projects, from Class One clean rooms and labs for biotechnology and high-tech usage to the 40-story IDX Tower @ Fourth & Madison, the University of Washington Medical Center Pacific Tower, and major contracts for Microsoft, the Boeing Company, and Immunex.

We consistently apply value engineering to help our clients realize maximum cost effectiveness, while our in-house mechanical engineers have an excellent track record of achieving quality results for such diverse mechanical system needs as high-rise office buildings to full services restaurants and high-end residences.

We use the latest technology for coordination of drawings and construction project management. As an added benefit, we can assist our clients in the development of CAD standards and expedited project communications through the Project Knowledge Center® (PKC), an Internet-based tool for organizing and distributing project information. With computerized estimating, load analysis, and fabrication equipment, we are capable of budgeting and bidding projects quickly and accurately.
