HERMANSON COMPANY ANNOUNCES
ADDITION OF NEW DESIGN-BUILD STAFF MEMBERS

The Hermanson Company, a $65 million full-service mechanical contractor based in Kent, announces the addition two Design-Build specialists to their engineering staff.

David T. Nehren, P.E., joined the company as Engineering Manager, responsible for day-to-day management of Hermanson’s Design-Build engineering staff and Design-Build processes. Mr. Nehren has over ten years of experience leading mechanical engineering designs for Design-Build construction of high-rise office buildings, corporate campus facilities, and biotechnical / medical facilities. A graduate of the University of Washington (BS Mechanical Engineering), Mr. Nehren is currently leading design efforts on a number of Seattle area projects.

Paul D. Sanborn has joined Hermanson as a Mechanical Engineer. Mr. Sanborn brings 25 years of mechanical design experience, having previously provided mechanical system design and construction support for major projects in Colorado and Washington, focusing primarily on large corporate campus projects in Redmond, Washington. At Hermanson, Mr. Sanborn is currently providing design for several projects in downtown Seattle and for the Christian Faith Center in Federal Way.

HERMANSON COMPANY ANNOUNCES NEW DESIGN-BUILD UNIT MANAGER

The Hermanson Company, a $65 million full-service mechanical contractor based in Kent, announces the addition of B. Joel Smith, P.E. as the company's Manager of Design-Build Services.

Mr. Smith, formerly a Principal of MacDonald Miller Construction responsible for the development of their Design-Build capabilities, has 30-years of experience in Design-Build mechanical construction. As Hermanson's Manager of Design-Build Services, he will be responsible for project development and for building the company's Design-Build processes and capabilities, as well as business development for the Design-Build business unit. In addition to his departmental management duties, Mr. Smith was instrumental in the recent completion of the Corbis Tenant Improvement at Seattle's Dexter Horton Building and is currently leading design development for the new Christian Faith Center in Federal Way.

Mr. Smith, a Cum Laude graduate of the University of Washington (Mechanical Engineering) is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Washington and 13 additional states. His projects have received numerous awards.
