Standardization of systems components, off-site prefabrication and simplicity of installation are key components of Lean Construction practices. Hermanson’s fabrication facilities – designed and operated to incorporate Lean practices – fabrications and assembles ductwork, piping and plumbing assemblies to drive Lean Construction.
We start with the concept that all mechanical components are pre-fabricated. Sophisticated and detailed Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) processes integrate all design parameters - dimensional limitations and electrical, communication, fire-life safety and other building systems are integrated. Shop operations support fabricated ductwork, plumbing connections, pipe fittings and assemblies, fixture and equipment connections, pump skids, multi-trade racks as well as fully assembled portions of other trades such as structural steel construction.
All Lean Fabrication centers around the concepts of efficiency, safety, and creativity in meeting the increasingly complex needs of mechanical systems construction.
"I would like to thank you for a job well done. Your expertise and hard work were key in achieving such an outstanding final product."
- Mickey Hansen
"Hermanson completed the project on time, within budget and with minimum disruption of the staff. Their planning and execution of the construction was exceptional."
- Terry Williams
"At the start of this job, I dreaded the potential of this interface of existing and new systems coming on line, but your team has truly eased my concern… On top of the coordination, the overall installation has been excellent and the work laid out in such a manner that when Hermanson is all done, it will look as if it was the original installation and not a third renovation."
- Keith Geary, Director of Engineering
"Hermanson's involvement from the pre-construction of the project to the commission allowed us to build a terrific end product for the client."
- Bill Kent
"Hermanson Company is an exceptional organization in many ways. You and your staff should be proud of the company you have built."
