Standardization of systems components, off-site prefabrication and simplicity of installation are key components of Lean Construction practices. Hermanson’s fabrication facilities – designed and operated to incorporate Lean practices – fabrications and assembles ductwork, piping and plumbing assemblies to drive Lean Construction.
We start with the concept that all mechanical components are pre-fabricated. Sophisticated and detailed Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) processes integrate all design parameters - dimensional limitations and electrical, communication, fire-life safety and other building systems are integrated. Shop operations support fabricated ductwork, plumbing connections, pipe fittings and assemblies, fixture and equipment connections, pump skids, multi-trade racks as well as fully assembled portions of other trades such as structural steel construction.
All Lean Fabrication centers around the concepts of efficiency, safety, and creativity in meeting the increasingly complex needs of mechanical systems construction.
