Hermanson Company recently celebrated the opening of our new Pipe Division (HPD) Shop in Kent, marking an exciting milestone for our company and the future of our fabrication operations. Employees, customers, industry partners, and community members gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to recognize the people and teamwork that helped bring the facility to life.

The new HPD Shop expands Hermanson's pipe fabrication capabilities and creates additional space for our teams to safely and efficiently support projects throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. The facility includes more than 81,000 square feet of fabrication space, a dedicated tradesmen office, and a 33,000-square-foot pipe yard, providing the capacity to fabricate prefabricated piping assemblies for both local and national job sites.

Having toured pipe fabrication shops across the country, Fitting Superintendent Mike Stedman believes the new facility reflects both the investment Hermanson has made in innovation and the talent of the people who work here every day.

The opening also coincides with the 2026 Stratus Innovate Conference, where Hermanson welcomed industry professionals for guided tours of our fabrication facilities.
