On August 20, 2026, Hermanson Company welcomed more than 400 attendees of the Stratus Innovate Conference to our Kent facilities for an inside look at the people, technology, and processes that power our fabrication operations.
As part of the conference experience, guests toured both our sheet metal and pipe fabrication shops, with buses continuously transporting attendees throughout the morning. Visitors rotated through five interactive stations in each shop, where Hermanson subject matter experts provided live demonstrations and shared how technology, planning, and prefabrication support successful project delivery.
Featured stations included equipment such as our spiral machine, laser cutter, TigerStop system, and Watts pipe cutter. At each stop, Hermanson experts highlighted how Hermanson leverages advanced fabrication technology, integrated production planning, and prefabrication to improve quality, efficiency, and coordination long before crews arrive onsite. Visitors also learned about Hermanson's connected digital manufacturing processes, lean construction practices, and first-of-its-kind spiral duct fabrication integration with Stratus workflows.
This year's tour was especially meaningful as it provided many attendees with their first opportunity to see Hermanson's newly opened Pipe Division Shop. The facility includes 19 welding stations and 10 fitting stations, supporting expanded prefabrication capabilities and continued growth across our operations.
Continued Innovation
As a Stratus technology partner since 2019, Hermanson has worked alongside the Stratus team to help advance digital construction workflows, participate in beta development efforts, and support innovation across the industry. The tour provided an opportunity to showcase how those technologies are being applied throughout our fabrication operations today
Events like Stratus Innovate create opportunities to connect with industry peers, exchange ideas, and showcase the people, processes, and technology that drive our work every day. Following the tours, attendees were invited to continue the conversation at a networking event at Topgolf, where they had the opportunity to connect with fellow industry professionals and members of the Hermanson team.
