A willingness to teach is what led Oregon Fitting Foreman, Bryan Oguri, to Hermanson one year ago and his teaching skills continue to benefit the apprentices and journeyman working with him.
Following his father’s lead, Bryan apprenticed with the Plumbers and steamfitters Local 290 right out of high school and was working as a Superintendent by the time he turned 27 years old. Beginning in 1999, he spent almost twenty years as a project manager before returning to field work in hopes of achieving a healthier work and family life balance.

Three years ago, a team of Hermanson employees joined Lease Crutcher Lewis for a day of service at Paradise Parking Plots Community Garden to help build a garden for World Relief Seattle 's immigrant and refugee clients.
After three seasons, the garden is thriving and bringing familiar foods and a sense of community to families from twenty-three countries.
