Amazon @ Yale & Thomas

168,000 sf | Seattle, Washington | Tenant Improvement | Design-Build Engineering

In the Fall of 2017, Hermanson began an office tenant improvement project for Amazon at the Yale & Thomas building in Seattle. Having already performed as the Design-Build mechanical contractor for the shell & core mechanical systems renovation, Hermanson incorporated knowledge of the building and an understanding of opportunities and challenges associated with the build-out to effectively address the tenant’s office space needs.

Hermanson installed all new medium pressure primary air loop for central cooling and ventilation air to office areas, including new fan powered terminal units. Redundant ventilation or chilled water cooling systems provide for IDF, equipment rooms, and cooling to new electrical transformers. Recirculating carbon filter systems exhaust the break rooms while the main café is served by a Type I grease exhaust hood with grease duct to roof.
