Salem Public Library Renovation

91,000 sf | Salem, Oregon | Infrastructure & Public Works | Design-Build Engineering | Oregon
Hermanson provided Design-Build services in partnership with PAE and Hacker Architects to replace the Salem Public Library building’s VAV  system (including change control valves from 2-way to 3-way), refurbish the main AHU, upgrade controls from pneumatic to DDC, plumb for full bathroom remodels, upgrade roof drain system, upgrade domestic hot water pumps, and replace damaged chilled water piping.
Working closely with the General Contractor, Howard S. Wright, the project was completed safely on a busy, occupied city campus and applied LEAN processes to meet schedule and budgetary goals.
