This holiday season, Hermanson came together to support our community through meaningful donations and volunteer efforts focused on giving back to families in need. Across multiple organizations and initiatives, our teams stepped up to make a positive difference where it matters most.

Vine Maple Place

In celebration of the season, Hermanson spread some extra cheer with a special visit to Vine Maple Place, a local nonprofit supporting families experiencing homelessness. Chris Gourley, Director of SPD, suited up as Santa Claus to personally deliver toys to children at the organization, bringing smiles, laughter, and a little North Pole magic along the way.

Vine Maple Place provides safe housing, stability, and supportive services for families as they work toward permanent housing and long-term independence. 

CEG Volunteering - Kent Food Bank

Our Critical Environments Group (CEG) also rolled up their sleeves to support the community by donating 132 pounds of food, diapers, and hygiene products to the Kent Food Bank. The team helped stock shelves in preparation for families arriving and assisted community members as they “shopped,” keeping shelves replenished throughout the day.

This location serves approximately 130 families per day, and our team was honored to help ensure families had access to essential items during the busy holiday season.

Veterans of Hermanson - Toys for Tots

The Veterans of Hermanson contributed to the holiday spirit by collecting and donating four boxes of toys to Toys for Tots, a program dedicated to bringing holiday joy to children in need.

Their donations will help ensure children in our community experience the excitement of receiving a gift during the holiday season, spreading cheer to families who might otherwise go without. It’s a small gesture that makes a big difference, and our Veterans team is proud to support this meaningful tradition.
