Meet Mike Leiphart, our Construction Support Foreman with over 25 years of industry experience, including 10 years with Hermanson. Mike brings a deep well of knowledge, a solutions-focused mindset, and a passion for taking on new challenges every day.

Mike grew up in Pennsylvania and later served in the military, experiences that helped shape his strong work ethic. After moving to Tacoma, Mike was introduced to the mechanical construction world by his father-in-law and got his start in hands-on mechanics. Since then, he's never looked back.

Mike now works in Owner Direct Solutions (ODS) as a Construction Support Foreman, where no two days are ever the same. 

He thrives on the variety, saying, “I like that I’m not in the same place all the time. There is always something new to solve, and I enjoy helping figure it out.”

What stands out most to Mike about Hermanson is the team-driven approach to every job. 

“We work together to find valuable solutions. That teamwork is everything,” he says. He consistently brings Hermanson’s Purpose and Core Values to life by fostering collaboration and delivering high-quality results, no matter the challenge.

Outside of work, Mike enjoys the outdoors. Whether hiking or four-wheeling, he spends time in nature with his three kids, two boys and a girl, often exploring trails together as a family.
