Hermanson is proud to announce that Ursula Lund, Assistant Project Manager, has been named the 2025 NAWIC Pacific Northwest Region Future Leader of the Year!

Presented by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC), this award recognizes an emerging leader who has shown exceptional involvement, dedication, and promise within their first two years of NAWIC membership.

Since joining in 2024, Lund has quickly become an active and influential member of the organization, seamlessly integrating into chapter leadership and helping to expand outreach to local students and the community.

As co-chair of the 2025 Women in Construction (WIC) Week Committee, one of the region’s most high-profile events, Lund successfully led programming, secured new sponsorships, and expanded community engagement. Her work included coordinating industry tours and creating connections with high school Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs, helping to inspire the next generation of women in construction.

“Ursula leads with intention and integrity,” said a colleague in her NAWIC nomination letter. “She doesn’t just check the boxes, she goes above and beyond in everything she does because she truly cares.”

NAWIC’s mission is to strengthen and amplify the success of women in the construction industry by providing education, community, and advocacy. The organization is committed to championing women who are shaping the future of construction.
