Last week, Hermanson Company CEO Rick Hermanson was formally recognized as a 2026 Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame Laureate at the Junior Achievement of Washington Business Hall of Fame event, held on April 28, 2026, at the JA Education Center.

The Junior Achievement Business Hall of Fame celebrates visionary leaders whose contributions help shape Washington’s economy while inspiring the next generation. Laureates are selected through a public nomination process and a rigorous, independent review by the business community.

Rick was honored alongside fellow 2026 Laureates Patricia Dedient, former CFO and Executive Vice President of Weyerhaeuser Company, and Vivian Phillips, founder of ARTE NOIR. Together, the Laureates represent leadership across business, culture, and community impact.

Rick’s recognition reflects his leadership at Hermanson Company and his longstanding commitment to supporting the next generation of the skilled trades. Through his involvement with Junior Achievement and earlycareer development efforts, he continues to help create pathways for students to explore opportunity and discover careers where they can learn, grow, and contribute.
